This wiki documents the BioConomy framework: a coordination architecture for economies organized around BioRegions.
Society organizes itself in four fundamental forms: Tribes (T), Institutions (I), Markets (M), and Emergent (E).
- Under the Market form, people relate to Institutions and Markets as clients: taxes and wages buy services and consumption.
- Under the Emergent form, E-form actors (BioHubs, cooperatives, and the coordination nodes they organize) relate to those same Institutions and Markets as providers, supplying the substrate outcomes those Institutions and Markets need and cannot produce internally.
This wiki exists to help those navigating the liminal space between the Market and Emergent forms.

1. Orientation

2. AI Quick-engage
The wiki is written to be read by humans and by AI systems. Commercial large language models have absorbed only fragments of the BioConomy corpus during their general training; the coherent body of work sits here and is easily accessible for both machines and humans. We explain this in Carbon-Silicon Partnership.
AI Quick-Engage gives four prompts to copy into any deep-research AI platform alongside your own project documents. The prompts diagnose where your bioregion still runs on the Economy and identify the shortest paths to funding retention work.

3. AI Deep dive
If you’re already familiar with this vocabulary and want to apply the BioConomy framework in your own bioregion, the four-template founding suite is where the wiki becomes immediately practically useful to you.
