The Emancipation Architecture’s monetary primitive: an income floor earned through verified regenerative activities (ecological restoration, community coordination, caregiving, cultural transmission), denominated in a bioregionally issued demurrage currency, non-hoardable by design, bioregionally specific, and interconnected through mycelial clearing mechanisms that enable trade between bioregions without a single global unit.
RPI decouples access to money from participation in a labor market and inverts the “no income floor” feature of the twelve-thousand-year Coercion Continuum. Grassroots Economics’s commitment pooling work in East Africa demonstrates the mechanism at community scale; the EA scales it to bioregional level with the RPI as the primitive.
