The closing window during which a wealth holder can reposition assets and identity from the declining extractive order into the emerging bioregional order. The Emancipation Architecture’s central timing claim: the window is real, and closes.

The concept is anchored on the historical case of the late Roman senatorial aristocracy, a wealth cohort with vast resources and, in many members, the perception that the imperial order was changing, that as a class failed to reposition and was liquidated with the system it clung to. Cassiodorus was the exception (retired from the Ostrogothic court, founded the Vivarium monastery); Boethius was the cautionary case (stayed inside the declining political order, executed by it). The Alpha Window names the period during which the Cassiodorus move is possible.
