A light registration through which a customary territory joins a restoration campaign or financing instrument: a boundary, one page of terms, and published offers, seeks and a baseline commitment.
Extended definition
The full BioHub founding suite runs through several templates before a place can align to a financial instrument. A chief’s council taking part in a regional campaign needs a shorter entry. The Chiefdom Coordination Surface gives it three outputs: the territory’s boundary with the smaller units where work is done (headman areas or villages) marked inside it; Chiefdom Terms, a one-page form of the Terms of Engagement covering consent, data, the division of payments and graduated sanctions; and a published list of offers and seeks with the territory’s agreement to a baseline survey.
Registration is an act of coordination and makes no claim on land. Payments under it go to village commitment pools with committees that include women and youth, and the customary authority receives a fixed, published stewardship fee for enforcing the Terms. Where many territories work toward one instrument, the campaign body runs the alignment work once on behalf of all of them.
Contrast with adjacent terms
A coordination surface is the general interface any BioHub publishes. The chiefdom form is a reduced version for a body whose authority is customary and whose capacity for template work is limited. It can grow into a full BioHub surface later.
