1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People. (2022). A Practical Guide to Integrated Landscape Management (Version 1.0). Washington, DC: EcoAgriculture Partners, on behalf of 1000 Landscapes for 1 Billion People. Licensed CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
The guide sets out a generic, locally adaptable process for integrated landscape management in five elements (Landscape Partnership, Shared Understanding, Vision and Planning, Taking Action, Impact and Learning), each with two to four concrete outputs. It synthesizes earlier work including The Little Sustainable Landscapes Book, the Sayer et al. ten principles, Commonland’s 4 Returns framework and the LandScale assessment method, and it expects the full cycle to take at least twenty years. The wiki takes from it the process sequence a BioHub cohort can use for convening, and reads its landscape investment portfolio against the BioConomy’s tenderable services portfolio.
