OECD (2025). Affordable Housing Database, indicator HM1.2, Housing prices. Paris: OECD.

The sheet tracks real house prices and the ratio of house prices to disposable income per person, indexed to 2015. It reports that price-to-income ratios rose in most countries after mid-2020, stayed above pre-pandemic levels in the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan, and that affordability across the OECD has been declining gradually since early 2024. US real house prices rose 38 index points from 2019 to 2024. The wiki cites it in What GDP Leaves Out to check the housing column, whose country values come from Visual Capitalist’s compilation.
