Dasgupta, P. (2021). The Economics of Biodiversity: The Dasgupta Review. London: HM Treasury.

The review treats nature as an asset and argues that inclusive wealth, which counts produced, human and natural capital, is the measure by which sustainable progress should be judged. It reports that between 1992 and 2014 produced capital per head roughly doubled and human capital per head rose by about 13 percent, while natural capital per head fell by nearly 40 percent. The wiki takes the stock-and-flow distinction and these figures as official support for Economy versus BioConomy and for the drawdown mechanism in What GDP Leaves Out.
