In June 2024, Power launched BFF (Bioregional Financing Facilities), a framework for channeling finance into bioregional-scale ecological restoration and regenerative development. The BFF architecture addresses a structural gap in conservation and regenerative finance: existing mechanisms operate either at project scale (too small to shift systems) or at global scale (too abstract to reach specific landscapes). BFF operates at the bioregional scale, matching financial instruments to the ecological and social realities of specific watersheds and landscapes.
Power’s background spans the World Bank, Johns Hopkins SAIS, and extensive field experience in Southeast Asia, giving her work a grounding in both institutional finance and on-the-ground ecological economics.
