Steiner’s primary published work on the threefold social order: freedom in cultural life, equality in rights life, fraternity in economic life. The structural argument is that these three principles are incompatible when applied universally to a single unified system; only differentiation of the three spheres, each operating according to its own logic while cooperating with the others, makes all three simultaneously realizable. Steiner identified liberté, égalité, fraternité as the unconscious prophecy of what conscious threefolding would achieve. The French Revolution named the destination; two centuries later the vehicle remained unbuilt. For the Emancipation Architecture, the threefold separation is the constitutional architecture the Mycelial Patronage design implements at bioregional scale.
