OECD (2024). OECD Survey on Drivers of Trust in Public Institutions: 2024 Results. Paris: OECD Publishing.

The survey asks representative samples in 30 countries about trust in government and in what drives it: reliability, responsiveness, integrity, openness and fairness. In November 2023, 39 percent of respondents had high or moderately high trust in their national government and 44 percent had low or no trust. Country figures used on the wiki come from the CSO Ireland comparison. A third round, run in 2025 across 38 countries, was published on 29 June 2026; the wiki has not yet drawn on it.
