The statement announces the exit on 24 October 2025, after South Africa completed the action plan agreed when it was grey-listed in February 2023. It describes the work as recovery from “the weakening of key law enforcement and other institutions during the state capture era.” The wiki cites it in South Africa on the Curve to date one of the recovery markers and to show that the work began before June 2024. It is the government’s own statement.
