Liu, J. D. (2012). Green Gold (documentary).

Liu’s documentary account of the restoration of the Loess Plateau in China, one of the largest landscape restoration projects in history. The Plateau, severely degraded by centuries of overgrazing and deforestation, was restored through coordinated terracing, replanting, and grazing management across an area of approximately 35,000 square kilometers. The film brought the project to a global audience and led to the founding of the Ecosystem Restoration Camps network, which now operates restoration sites worldwide.
