The RESOLVE Ecoregions dataset identifies 847 terrestrial ecoregions across 8 biogeographic realms and 14 biomes. It is the spatial foundation for the One Earth Bioregions Framework, which groups these ecoregions into 185 bioregions and assigns them the alphanumeric codes used in BioHub subdomain naming.
